Louise Dutton Guinn, 91 of Rockingham died Saturday, January 08, 2011 at Somerset Assisted Living Center in Hamlet. > > Louise was born October 7, 1919 in Anson County a daughter of the late Clay Battle and Retta Moree Dutton. She was a very active member of Glenwood United Methodist Church. She worked at Beaunit Mill/Avondale as a personnel/payroll administrator. She was preceded in death by her husband James ”Doc” Guinn as well as brothers Herman, George, Wilburn, Oscar, and Joyce Lee Dutton, and one sister Ollie Dutton English. She is survived by her sons Jimmy Guinn and wife Connie, of Rockingham and Donald Guinn and wife Sara of Raleigh. One brother Lindy Dutton of Winston-Salem, and one sister Ruby Ingold of Hamlet, three Grandchildren Brian Guinn and wife Heather, Adam Guinn and wife Erica and Jason Guinn, and one Great Grandchild Ella Marie Guinn. She is also survived by a very close niece Jean Dutton Capps and husband Bill. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Glenwood United Methodist Church with Rev. Joel Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Richmond County Memorial Park. > The family will receive friends from 12:45 P.M. – 1:45 P.M. prior to the service at the church. > In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Glenwood United Methodist Church, 189 County Home Road, Rockingham, 28379.
