John Floyd Holder

John Floyd “Johnny” Holder, 64, of 155 Eason Dr. Rockingham, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Mr. Holder was born February 11, 1946 in Moore County, a son of the late Martha Washington Holder Edmisten. He had been employed in construction. Surviving are his sons, John F. Holder, Jr. of Bennettsville, SC, Steven Holder and Timothy Holder, both of Rockingham; daughter, Hillary Holder of Virginia; brothers, Donald Edmisten of Robbins, Edward Edmisten of Vass; sister, Linda Scowden of Godwin NC; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. The family will see friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday at the home.
