Hilda Vuncannon McDuffie

Hilda Vuncannon McDuffie, 65, entered her eternal rest on Saturday, April 7, 2007. She was born August 6, 1941 in Richmond County, a daughter of Louise Ford Vuncannon and the late Worth Vuncannon. She was a precious loving daughter, sister, wife and aunt. She had been employed with Roberdel Bread and Butter. For many years she has courageously fought various concerns and was surrounded by loving and supportive family members during her battles. Her husband, Daniel McDuffie preceded her in death. Surviving Hilda are her mother, Louise Ford Vuncannon of Rockingham, a sister, Glenda Vuncannon Goodwin and husband John, a brother, Larry Vuncannon, nieces Shannon Goodwin Gathings and husband Tony of Hamlet, Teresa Perakis and husband Joe of Rockingham, great nieces, Kaylee and Torie Gathings, great nephews, Buster Gathings and Jordan Perakis. A graveside service will take place Tuesday, April 10 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Calvary Rock of Ages Church Cemetery on County Home Road, Rockingham. Wesley Williams will officiate. Hilda, you are much loved and we will miss you terribly. Enjoy your much deserved rest with the angels.
