Aleice Leviner Smith

Aleice Leviner Smith, 83, of Rockingham, entered her eternal rest on Monday, April 16, 2007. She was born September 23, 1923 in Richmond County, a daughter of Arthur and Nettie Leviner. She was a devoted, loving mother of two sons, Lewis C. Smith Jr. and wife Sandra, Robert Larry Smith and wife Tami, all of Rockingham, brothers, Carl Leviner of Hampton, Va., Earl Leviner of Ohio, sisters, Elizabeth Spruill of Texas, Illa Hamlett of Williamsburg, Va., and grandchildren, Clea, Chris, Eric and Robert Smith, all of Rockingham, Brian Smith of Charlotte. step grandchildren, Stephanie Blount and Hunter Gibson, both of Rockingham, great grandchildren, Brandon, Jeremy, and Hannah Smith and Tyler Blount all of Rockingham. Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 18, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Cobb Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. David Lee and Rev. Brian Bohannon officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 6:30 – 8:00 PM Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home. The family would like to thank all of the staff of Liberty Hospice, Sandhills Medical Group and Dr. Elaine Huffman for their caring, kindness and compassion.
