Phillip Hunter Richardson

Phillip Hunter Richardson, 47, of Mt. Gilead, died Saturday, February 19, 2011 at University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill. Mr. Richardson was born April 20, 1963 in Moore County, a son of Rachel Nelson Richardson Wright and the late Otis Lee Richardson. He was a graduate of West Montgomery High School, Class of 1981 and was employed with Gibraltar Printing in Mt. Gilead. He was preceded in death by a brother, Otis Lee Richardson, II. Surviving are his son, Nathan Richardson of Troy; daughter, Leanna Richardson of Troy; mother and step-father, Rachel and Richard Wright of Mt. Gilead; and brothers, Steve Richardson of Rockingham, Tim Richardson of Laurinburg and John Wright of Mt. Gilead. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Stoney Fork Baptist Church in Mt. Gilead with Rev. Terry Burris officiating.
