Paul Emanuel Thomas

Paul Thomas Mr. Paul Emanuel Thomas 83, of 147 Crestview Drive Rockingham died April 24, 2007 at Sandhills Regional Memorial Hospital. Mr. Thomas was born December 21, 1923 in Richmond County a son of the late Van and Ola Phifer Thomas. He was a member of Pee Dee United Methodist Church where he served as treasurer for over 40 years and was a member of the Pee Dee United Methodist Men, a member of East Rockingham Civitan Club and East Rockingham Men’s club. He retired from Clark Equipment where he was a machine operator. He is survived by his wife Etta Purvis Thomas of the home along with one son Larry Keith Thomas of the home. Funeral services will be held Friday at 3:00 pm at Pee Dee United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bobby Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Northam Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:30-8:00 at Carter Funeral Home of Rockingham. Memorial may be made to Pee Dee United Methodist Church % S. D. McLendon 173 Poole Road.
