Steven Charles D'Antonio

Steven Charles D’Antonio, 70, of 786 NC 381 Hwy, Hamlet, died Friday, April 1, 2011 at the Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center in Fayetteville. Mr. D’Antonio was born August 20, 1940 in Oakland, CA, a son of the late Charles and Irene D’Antonio. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, was the former owner and operator of Steve’s Body Shop and was associated with Steve’s Roofing. He was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Teresa Marie D’Antonio and Kayla Noel D’Antonio. Surviving are his son, Steven D’Antonio, Jr. of Hamlet; daughter, Sara Dick of Pinebluff; 6 grandchildren; brother, Carl D’Antonio of Homosassa, Fl; and a sister, Lynn Hawks of Pocatello, ID. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Tyler officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary/Rock of Ages Church Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home on Hwy 381.
