Gregory Scott Brigman, 43, of Rockingham, departed this life Sunday, April 03, 2011 at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville. Scott was born October 8, 1967 in Millington, TN, a son of James and Patty Richardson Brigman. An electrician by trade, he served in the US Navy, was a lifetime member of the DAV, and a proud member of the Tuscarora Nation. He is survived by his parents, James and Patty Brigman of Rockingham; his fiancé, Carrie Parker of Rockingham; two daughters, Felicia Brigman Frye and husband Cody of Missouri, Brittney Brigman of St. Matthews, SC; two sons, Dustin Brigman and Dakota Feagin, both of St. Matthews, SC; a grandson, Eric Frye of Missouri; two brothers, James Brigman, Jr. and wife Lori of Rockingham, John Brigman and wife Katsumi of Sasebo, Japan; a sister, Tina Brigman Wallace and husband Bryan of Rockingham. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Trevor Foster and Rev. Sam Standridge officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with military honors. The family will see friends from 6:00- 8:00 pm Thursday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at his parents home, 124 Horseshoe Road, Rockingham.
