Gerline Mabe Hudson

Gerline Mabe Hudson, 65, of 154 Sandy Ridge Church Rd., Rockingham, died Friday, April 08, 2011 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Mrs. Hudson was born January 14, 1946 in Montgomery County, a daughter of the late Raymond Ham and Harriett Carroll Mabe. She was a member of Southside FreeWill Baptist Church and had been employed with Norman Knitting. Surviving are her husband, Delma Clifford Hudson of the home; son, Delma C. Hudson, Jr. of Rockingham; 2 grandchildren; brothers, Hoover Mabe, Roger Mabe, and David Mabe, all of Jackson Springs, Richard Mabe of West End, Zollie Mabe of Ellerbe; a sister, Carol McGuire of Louisville, NC. Graveside services will be held at 3:00pm Sunday at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Jacobs and Rev. Charles Leviner officiating. The family will see friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Saturday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home on Sandy Ridge Church Road.
