Donald Sanders

Mr. Donald Eugene Sanders Sr. 71, of Hamlet died Sunday, April 17, 2011 at his home. Donald was born April 7, 1940 in Scotland County a son of the late William J and Lillie Davis Sanders. He retired from Klopman Mills. He was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church and an avid hunter. He is survived by his wife Rachel Evers Sanders three sons Donald E. Sanders Jr. of Hamlet, Michael and Andy Sanders both of Rockingham, two daughters Carol S. Stutts of Aiken S.C. and Miranda Sanders of Hamlet, five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday April 21, 2011 at Faith Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Terry McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow at Northam Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday April 20, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home.
