Lois Williams Nuttall

Lois Jeanette Williams Nuttall, 91, of Rockingham, died Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Somerset Court in Hamlet. Mrs. Nuttall was born March 18, 1920 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Marcum Blaine and Wilma Ballard Williams. She had retired from Burlington Industries and was preceded in death by her husband, A.C. Nuttall, sisters, Edna W. Coleman and Alma W. McRae, brothers, Lewis Williams and Edgar Williams. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Tinka Nuttall of Rockingham; grandchildren, Blaine Maples and husband Jim of Rockingham, Robin Rakes and husband Mike of Oak Ridge, NC; great grandchildren, Megan Maples and Matt Rakes; and a sister, Annie Laurie Cribbs of Rockingham. Funeral services will be private. Memorials may be made to Richmond County Hospice, 1119 US Hwy 1 N, Rockingham, NC 28379.
