Monnie Boone Paul

Monnie Daniel Boone Dohr Paul, “Aunt Mollie” left this world Mother’s Day morning May 8th.. She is with her Lord and Savior now. Born in Richmond County July 9, 1919 a daughter of James and Ina Lammonds Boone. She is preceeded in death by her beloved husband Ernest O’dell Dohr, sisters and brothers; Mrs. Bertie Skipper, Mrs. Johnsie Bowman, Mrs. Mary Sanford, Mr. Jim Boone, Mr. Furman Boone, Mr. Howard Boone, Mr. Ollie Boone, Mr. Bob Boone and Rev. Joe Boone. She is survived by her daughter Kathy Benson Chrisco and her husband Billy Chrisco. She is also survived by her sister and her husband Mrs. Willie Hoffman and Mr. Bobby Hoffman. She will be missed by grandchildren Lora Benson and Sgt. Gene Benson and wife Dawn Benson. Also Great Grandchildren Brett and Brooke Benson of Peoria, Il and Tyler Benson of Grovetown, Ga. Along with another special grandson of Grovetown, Ga. Trey Hauge. She loved them all so much. She was an employee at Richmond Community College for many years. She enjoyed her work and the many great people she met over the years. She found much joy in attending Abundant Life Ministries Church, when she was able. Pastor Joe Wilkes has been and is a very special part of her. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm. Wednesday May 11, 2011 at Abundant Life Church officiated by Rev. Joe Wilkes. Burial will follow in Zion UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8:00pm. Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
