Ann Smith Grant

Mrs. Ann S. Grant 61, of 618 Walnut Lane Rockingham died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at her home. She was born March 6, 1950 in Richmond County, a daughter to Alta Clemmons Smith and the late Mack Smith. She was a homemaker. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Grant. Surviving are sons, Ron Jenkins and wife Barbara of Little River, SC, Keith Jenkins and wife Jamie of Derby, Tony Jenkins and wife Stephanie of Laurinburg; daughter, Traci Hayes and husband Buddy of Hamlet; her mother, Alta Smith of Rockingham; grandchildren, Casey Mouser, Skyler Clarke, Kerra Jenkins, Brent Hayes; great-grandchildren Riley Mouser , Destiny Clarke; and brothers, Mack “Sonny” Smith and Mitchell Smith, both of Rockingham. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Jacobs officiating. The family will see friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Friday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home on Walnut Lane.
