Evander McIver Lynch,Jr.

Evander McIver Lynch, Jr. 64, of 150 Gibson Nursery Rd. Ellerbe, died Monday, May 28, 2007 at his home. Mr. Lynch was born December 31, 1942 in Richmond County a son of the late Evander M. and Annie Martin Lynch. He had served his country in the US Army and had been employed with Alco Convenience Store. He was preceded in death by his first wife Janice Wall Lynch Surviving are his wife, Minnis Johnson Lynch of the home, son, David A. Lynch of Rockingham, daughters, Christina L. Perkins of Rockingham, Angela Boyette of Rockingham, Susan Darnell of Ellerbe, brother Gene Lynch of Rockingham and 6 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Rev. Gene Alexander officiating. Interment will follow in Northam Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:30 – 8:00 PM Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home on Gibson Nursery Rd.
