Helen Mildred Henderson

Helen Mildred Henderson, 86, of Ellerbe, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Hospice Haven of Rockingham. Miss Henderson was born April 28, 1921 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late, William Robert and Ora Townsend Henderson. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Ellerbe and had retired from customer service with American Optical and Piedmont Optical Companies. Surviving are her brothers, Vernon Henderson of Hamlet, Samuel Henderson of Jacksonville, NC, and a sister, Audrey H. Ussery of Ellerbe. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe with Rev. James Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery. The family will see friends one hour prior to the service.
