Carl Clark Williams

Mr. Carl Williams 81, of Rockingham died Thursday June 9, 2011 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital. Carl was born July 23, 1929 in Richmond County a son of the late Ashley and Mary Sanford Williams. Carl was a member of Midway Baptist Church. He had retired from J. P. Stevens in 1986. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Jessie Saunders Williams, one son Carl Clark Williams Jr. and wife Donna of Florida, two daughters Janice W. Probst and husband Jeff and Beth W. Board and husband Donald all of Rockingham, grandchildren Amanda P. Guenthner, Matthew Probst, Amy Beck, Jamie Williams, and Justin Williams; and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday June 12, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at Midway Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Northam Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home of his daughter Beth Board.
