Catherine Watkins

Catherine Watkins Elizabeth Catherine Bryant Watkins, 80 years old, died May 31, 2007 at her home. She was born September 16, 1926 to the late Will and Pinky Stogner Bryant. Others preceding her in death were her husband Steve L. Watkins Sr. and daughter Cassandra Beth Watkins. Surviving are her son, Steve L. Watkins Jr. and wife Janice; their children Amanda, Elizabeth, and Steve L. Watkins III; her daughter Janet W. Locklear and her two sons Christopher Locklear and Charles A. Jacobs; his children Katelynn Jacobs and Charles A. Jacobs II. All that are truly born again Christians, who know Jehovah God, as their God and Father are my kindred. A full account of my life, my love of God, my dependency upon him, and the many incredible awesome ways he revealed himself to me may be found recorded in the Lamb’s Book of Life. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham. Graveside services will be held Saturday at St. Paul United Methodist Church at 11:00 am with Rev. Frank McQuage officiating. If anyone desires in remembrances of Catherine, may contribute to her favorite charity, which she supported faithfully for the last several years.
