Thomas Owen Adcock

Thomas Olin Adcock, 59, of Charlotte, formerly of Rockingham, died Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte. Mr. Adcock was born December 9, 1951 in Richmond County, a son of the late William Walter and Mary McCumbee Adcock. He had served his country in the US Air Force and was a computer analyst. Surviving are brothers, Wally Adcock of Rockingham, Johnny Adcock of Lillington, Terry Adcock of Fayetteville and a sister, Sibby Hooks of Georgia. A memorial service will be held at 3 :00 pm Tuesday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Mitchell Roller officiating. The family will see friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Avenue, Suite 100, Charlotte, North Carolina 28207
