Frances Patricia Miller

Frances Patricia “Pat” Sherrill Miller Pat Sherrill Miller, 76, received her wings and flew away home on Friday August 12, 2011. Born August 5, 1935 in Richmond County a daughter of the late Ransome and Maude Gertrude Russell Sherrill. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she enjoyed helping with Vacation Bible School. She was preceded in death by her husband David Elisha Miller and a son David Elisha Miller, Jr. She is survived by a daughter Teresa Diane Stephenson of Hamlet, Brothers; Frank, Boyce and Bryant Sherrill all of Rockingham, a sister; Rebecca Lee Smith of China Grove, NC. Also surviving is a granddaughter Amy Lynn Simmons and a great grandson who was Pat’s heart Jacob Elijah Simmons. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm Tuesday August 16, 2011 at the Carter Colonial chapel conducted by Rev. Scott Conner. Burial will follow in Eastside Cemetery.
