Donald Robert Newton Donald Robert Newton, 44, of 106 Watkins Ave., Rockingham, NC died Thursday August 11, 2011. Born January 31, 1967 in Richmond County a son of Pauline Arnette Lovette Newton and the late Alfred Lee Newton he was also preceded in death by a sister Cynthia Walker. He was an electrician by trade and enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his mother: Pauline L. Newton, spouse Elisa Evers Newton of the home, a step-son Andrew Ryan Norton of McColl, SC, a daughter Bridget Ann Newton of Rockingham, a brother Alfred Eugene Newton of Rockingham, sisters Linda Magia of Charleston, SC and Terrie Miller of Rockingham and one step grandson. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Monday August 15, 2011 at First Assembly of God conducted by Rev. Gene Alexander. Burial will follow in Northam Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Sunday at the church.
