Jeanette Lee Bowman

Mrs. Jeanette Elizabeth Lee Bowman, 62, of 5912 Hoffman Rd., Hoffman died June 22, 2007 at Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem. She was born November 4, 1944 in Montgomery County a daughter of the late Henry and Ada Britt Lee. Mrs. Bowman worked in the textile industry as a weaver. Funeral Services will be at the Carter Funeral Home Ellerbe Chapel on Monday at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Otis Goins officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery. She is survived by her husband Allen “Ray” Bowman of the home, a Son Scotty Sexton of Robbins, Step-Daughters, Lisa Rivera of Hamlet and Terrie Currie of Rockingham. Brothers Albert Lee and Richard Lee of Ellerbe, Brantley Lee of Troy, Travis Lee of New London. Sisters Marggie Blake of Troy, Lucille Lewis of Ellerbe, Barbara Jean Hudson of Pekin, Joyce Cole of Eagle Springs, Bea Sexton of Candor, Irene Treece of Norman, Roberta Moore and Darlene Haene of Biscoe, and Mattie Dennis of Wadeville , NC, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00-7:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe.
