Tom Allen Chapman, PHD

Tom Allen Chapman, PhD, 73, of Rockingham, died Saturday, September 10, 2011 at his home. Dr. Chapman was born June 6, 1938 in Independence, Mo, a son of the late Thomas and Dorothy Qurollo Chapman. He served his country in the US Army, Green Berets, during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church and had been a Clinical Psychologist in Richmond County for over 30 years, having worked diligently with Vietnam Veterans. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Mary Kay Lewis Chapman of the home; son, Rodney Masten Chapman of Rockingham; daughter, Megin Lewis Chapman of Farmville; and a sister, Judy Hussey of Columbia, MO. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday at St. James Catholic Church with Father Jean Pierre Swamunu Lhoposo officiating.
