Mary Roller Curtis

Mrs. Mary Roller McCaskill Curtis, 90, a resident of the Croasdaile United Methodist Retirement Home in Durham died Sunday, July 01, 2007 at Croasdaile. Mrs. Curtis was born October 4, 1916 in Darlington County, SC, a daughter of the late James S. and Dora Holder Roller. She was a member of McMannen United Methodist Church in Durham and a homemaker. Her husbands, William McCaskill and Harrison E. Curtis and 9 brothers and sisters preceded her in death. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Barbara McCaskill of Durham, daughters and sons-in law, Marilyn and Jerry Runyon of Houston, TX, Beverly Clark of Pooler, GA, and Harriet and B.V. Belk of Charlotte, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Noon Tuesday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Rev. Larry Chandler officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 10:45 – 11:45 am Tuesday at the funeral home.
