Robert Earl Lampley

Robert Earl Lampley, 71, of Rockingham, died Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Rockingham Manor in Rockingham. Mr. Lampley was born May 19, 1940 in Richmond County, a son of the late John and Julia Webb Lampley. He was a member of Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church, had served in the US Army and was a retired Truck Driver with APAC. Surviving are his brothers, Edward Lampley and Odom Lampley, both of Rockingham; and his sister, Peggy Clarke of Rockingham. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday at Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Michael Price officiating. Interment will be private. The family will see friends immediately following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church, 142 Yates St., Rockingham, NC 28379.
