Danny Wayne Jacobs

Mr. Danny Wayne Jacobs , 55 of 704 Deweese Ave., Rockingham died Saturday morning at Sandhills Regional Hospital in Hamlet. He was born January 27, 1956 in Richmond County, NC a son of the late William Dewey and Elsie Brigman Jacobs. He worked for Legg’s Mfg of Rockingham prior to his retirement, he attended Southside Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers; William Brigman, Raymond Brigman and Alan Lynch. He is survived by his companion of 35 yearsFrances Suzette Martin of the home, a son Daniel Cody Jacobs of the home, brothers; Jimmy Brigman of Dunwoody, GA., Marvin Jacobs of Charlotte , Kenny Jacobs of Aberdeen and a sisters; Jane Stancell of Simpsonville, SC and Shelby Jacobs Grooms of Hamlet, NC. A graveside service will be conducted 11am Tuesday October 10, 2011 at the Richmond County memorial Park, Rev. Ricky Jacobs will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8:00PM at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and other times at the home, 704 Deweese Avenue, Rockingham, NC.
