Luther "Gene" Wilson

Luther L. Wilson 66, of Lake Lure N.C passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Fair Haven Home in Bostic N.C. Gene was born in Richmond County a son of the late Luther “Luke” and Grace Hinson Wilson. He attended Fairfield Mountain Chapel and was a graduate of Campbell University with his B.S in Accounting. He retired with W. R. Grace where he worked in accounting and sales. He is survived by one sister Susan Hyatt and husband Wayne of Lake Lure N.C along with his nephews Brad Hyatt and wife Ashley of Fort Mill S.C., Mark Hyatt and wife Christina of Arlington Va., Trent Hyatt and wife Dana of Idaho Springs, Colorado, Jeff Hyatt and wife Sally of Fort Mill S.C., 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Rev. Mitchell Roller officiating. Interment will follow at Eastside Cemetery.
