Vickie Dorsett Parsons Hayden, 45, of Ellerbe, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. Vickie was born September 27, 1966 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Richard and Doris Caulder Dorsett. She had attended Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church and was employed with Davita Dialysis. Surviving are her husband, Keith Hayden of the home; sons, Jason Parsons and Wesley Parsons, both of Ellerbe; step-daughter, Dana Hayden Crook of Mt. Gilead; grandchildren, Levi Hayden Crook, Gavin Hayden Crook, Isabella Hayden Crook; biological father, Tommy Deese and wife Pat of Rockingham; brothers, Tommy Deese, Jr. and wife Cherie of Rockingham, Darryl Deese of Mississippi; grandmother, Virginia Davidson of Rockingham; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends who loved her very much and will always keep her close to their heart. A service to celebrate Vickie’s life will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday in the Carter Funeral Home Ellerbe Chapel with Rev. Donnie Davis officiating. The family will see friends from 5:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at the home.
