Hazel Patterson Brigman

Hazel Patterson Brigman, 87, formerly of Maple St. Rockingham, died Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg. Mrs. Brigman was born May 18,1924, in Richmond County, a daughter of the late James Randall and Effie McPherson Patterson. She attended Southside Freewill Baptist Church and had retired from the Weave Room of Aleo Manufacturing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther P. Brigman. Surviving are her daughters, Rebecca Lisk and husband Bobby of Rockingham, Merle Hannah and husband Jerry of Rockingham, Debra Lineberger and husband Eric of Concord; grandchildren, Robin Davis and husband Kyle, Kim Mills, Wayne Hannah and wife Donna, and Shawn Mills; and great grandchildren Monica Hannah, Kylie and Holden Davis, Keairiah Blount, Nakayla Blount, and Rilee Thorne. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Southside Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Jacobs, Rev. Jeff Goudelock, Rev. Robbie Stewart and Rev. James Croke officiating. Entombment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will see friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Saturday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home of Merle and Jerry Hannah, 131 Bay Street, Rockingham, NC.
