Patricia Huggins Brizendine

Patricia Huggins Brizendine, 67, of Rockingham, died Tuesday, November 01, 2011 at Ambassador Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wadesboro. Mrs. Brizendine was born March 27, 1944 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Lott Legrand and Sallie Lampley Huggins. She was a lifelong member of East Rockingham Free Will Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Auxillary and had retired from L’Eggs Hosiery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Brizendine. Surviving are her daughters, Christine C. Benton and Sally Meachum, both of Rockingham; grandchildren Nicholas Benton, Nicole Benton, Aaron Meachum; a brother, Donald Huggins of Rockingham; and a sister, Barbara Dickinson, of Rockingham. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday at East Rockingham Free Will Baptist Church with Bishop Marvin Taylor, Rev. Johnny Johnson and Donald Huggins officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the Dickinson Home, 117 Spring Drive Extension Rockingham.
