Nell Smith Webster Mrs. Nell Smith Webster, 81, of 530 Mill Road Rockingham, died Friday November 4, 2011 at Rockingham Manor. Nell was born May 16, 1930 in Richmond County, NC a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Wilma Ormsby Smith. She was a member of East Rockingham United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William “Willie” Webster, sisters; Gladys Ruth Roach, Polly S. Siner and a brother Robert G. Smith. Mrs. Webster is survived by a son William E. “Bill” Webster and wife Wanda of Rockingham, a brother William A. Smith of Rockingham and a granddaughter Samantha Webster of Charlotte. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00am Tuesday November 8, 2011 at Richmond County Memorial Park, Rockingham, Rev. Tommy Hill will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and other times at the home of Bill and Wanda Webster, 530 Mill Road, Rockingham, NC.
