Mary Rogers Tate

Mary Louise Rogers Tate, 69, of Rockingham, died Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Rockingham Manor. Mrs. Tate was born October 17, 1942 in Mecklenburg County, NC , a daughter of the late Stanley and Clara Sparkman Rogers. She had retired from the winding department of Pharr Yarns after 32 years of service. Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Virgil Tate of the home; sons, Jerry Tate of Lantana, FL, Kenneth Tate of Clermont, FL; brothers, S.L. Rogers of Barnwell, SC, Earl Rogers of Charlotte, Joe Rogers of Gastonia; and sister, Ruth Plummer of Mint Hill, NC. Funeral services will be held privately.
