Patricia (Priss) Holland Baldwin DeBerry, 57, of 133 Country Hideout, Rockingham, died Monday, July 23, 2007 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Mrs. DeBerry was born February 28, 1950 in Forsyth County, a daughter of the late Herman and Anna Mae Neal Holland. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and had been a bus driver for Lincoln County Schools. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Daniel ( Bill ) Baldwin. Surviving are her husband, Herman DeBerry of the home, brothers, Bobby Holland, Clady “Tinker” Holland, and Jerry Wayne Holland all of Walnut Cove, sisters, Betty Pegram of Belews Creek, Carolyn Snyder of Hallsboro, Jacqueline White of Belews Creek and Linda Holland of Sherrills Ford. Also surviving are step-children, Roger DeBerry, Tommy DeBerry, Herman “Buck” DeBerry, Jr., Dana Williams, Annette Richardson and Faye Melton, all of Rockingham, 11 step grandchildren and 2 dtep great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Eugene McNair officiating. A second service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, at Forest Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Bobby Roberson and Rev. Gary Elrod officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friend from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday at Burroughs Funeral Home in Walnut Cove.
