Carson Lee Barrett

Carson Lee Barrett, 2, of Ellerbe, died Thursday, November 17, 2011 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. Carson was born June 19, 2009 in Moore County, a son of Charles V. Barrett and Chrystal Weatherly. Surviving are his parents, Charles V. Barrett of Monroe, Chrystal Weatherly of Ellerbe; brothers, Charles Barrett, Jr., Christian Barrett, Cameron Barrett, all of Ellerbe; grandparents, Tim and Linda Barrett of Apex, Hamp and Jewell Weatherly of Pinehurst; great grandparents, Wade and Winnie Weatherly of Hamlet, Betty Barrett of Mexico, Maine, and Mae Whaley of White Lake. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday at McLean Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Stone officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Saturday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at the Weatherly home, 15 Melrose Dr., Pinehurst.
