Grace Morgan Martin

Mrs. Grace Neola Morgan Martin 83, of 138 Manor Road, Rockingham, died Tuesday evening at her home. Funeral is 2:00PM Saturday at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel in Rockingham, Rev. Don Kivitt will officiate. Burial will follow in Northam Cemetery. She was born October 26, 1928 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late James Benjamin and Essie Dell Thompson Morgan. She was a Special Needs Caregiver for Sandhills Manor until retirement. She was an active member of Highland Pines Free Will Baptist Church, teaching Adult Sunday School and active in Choir until health issues prevented her from attending. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Claude and James Morgan and a son Donnie McLean. She is survived by a son Corrie McLaine of SC, daughters; Debra J. Hash and Sharon J. Martin both of Rockingham, a brother Fairley Morgan of Rockingham and sisters; Virginia Thompson and Mary Deese both of Rockingham and Winnie Burr of Harmony, NC. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 15 Great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6-8:00pm. Friday evening at Carter Funeral Home and other times at the home 138 Manor Road.
