Letha Teal Williams, 85, of Rockingham, died Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the Richmond County Hospice Haven. Mrs. Williams was born April 30, 1926 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Ailene Brock Teal. She had attended Maple Street Free Will Baptist Church and had retired from the textile industry. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Arthur Quick and Allen Williams, and grandchildren, Susan Stricklin, James E. Mack, Jr., and Reginald Ray, Jr. Surviving are her children, Shirley Q. Ray ( Reggie) of Greensboro, Linda Q. Klesener (Jim) of Pine Bluff, Solomon Quick, Jr. (Debra) of Ellerbe, Marie Q. Haywood ( Wayne) of Hamlet, Elaine Q. Taylor (Ronnie) of Laurel Hill; a stepson, Robert Williams; 15 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Baldwin of South Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Bob Vetter, Richmond County Hospice Chaplain officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 12:45 –1:45 pm Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
