Jimmy Wayne Hewitt

Jimmy Wayne Hewitt 53, of Rockingham passed away Friday, January 6, 2012 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. Jimmy was born May 19, 1958 in Richmond County a son of the late Edward and Sarah Kissiah Hewitt. Jimmy worked in construction as a home builder. He is survived by his fiancée Barbara Smith, two daughters Bambi Patterson of Rockingham and Sarah Hewitt Walker of Mississippi, brother Bobby Hewitt Sr., three sisters Susan Kreamer of Maryland, Jane Hewitt of Hamlet, and Bobbie Jean Daniel of North Myrtle Beach S.C., three Grandchildren Journey Oliver, Edward Hewitt, and Jillian Patterson. A service to celebrate the life of Jimmy will be held Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 3:00 at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Rev. Joe Wilkes officiating. Burial will be at a later date. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
