Shirley Kay Dye

Ms. Shirley Kay Spivey Dye, 60, of Ellerbe went to be with the Lord. Born of the late James and Edith Spivey she was also preceded in death by her sisters; Joyce Spivey Bruce and Linda Kilgor. She is survived by her son Mark Hamilton of Charlotte, and her daughter, Jackie Gorman of Lynchburg, Va., brothers; Jerry Spivey of Ellerbe, NC and Larry Spivey of Reidsville, NC, sisters; Jean Chappell of Tompkinsville, KY and Norma Frans of Reidsville, NC. Grandchildren; Cameron, Ashleigh, Brandon, Lucas and Woodrow, and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends. Carter Funeral Home of Ellerbe is serving the family of Ms. Dye. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that you send all condolences to Carter Funeral Home to be part a private service that will be held at a later date.
