Harold Eugene Gardner

Mr. Harold Eugene Gardner, 81, of 1115 Lorraine Road Apt. 129, Wheaton, Ill died Tuesday Feb. 7, 2012 at his home. Born November 1, 1930 in Richmond County, NC. He was a son of the late William Henry and Mattie Snead Gardner. He was a salesman for Culligan Water Conditioning, Inc. Harold was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 Saturday at the Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel in Rockingham. Burial will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park in Rockingham. He is survived by his wife Faye Roberts Gardner of the home, a daughter Debra Gardner Kurtz of Wheaton, Ill., 4 Grandchildren; Phillip of Glendale Heights, Ill, James of Joplin, Mo., Christy of Ft. Riley, KS., and Nicole of Wheaton, Ill. Also surviving are 5 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8pm Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
