Louise Dawkins Marsh

Mrs. Louise Virginia Dawkins Marsh, 88 of 284 Blues Bridge Rd. Hoffman died Wednesday, February 08, 2012 at Quail Haven Village. She was born March 4, 1923 in Mecklenburg County a daughter of the late Maggie Dawkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband Grant Marsh and one grandchild Shane Smith and her sister Margaret Williams. She retired from Hoffman School as the cafeteria manager. She was a member of Kings Gate Church. She is survived by her sons Richard Marsh of Aberdeen and Michael Marsh and Larry Marsh both of Hoffman her daughters Carolyn Green of Hoffman, Dee Dee Smith of Rockingham and Myra Cooke of Ellerbe, one brother Ray Dawkins of Hamlet, five grandchildren eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday 2:00 P.M. at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service.
