Ben Cameron Allen, Jr.

Ben Cameron Allen, Jr., 58, of Charlotte, died Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Mr. Allen was born March 10, 1953 in Richmond County, a son of Ben Cameron and Margaret Rorie Allen. He was a graduate of Rockingham High School, Class of 1971 and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He was a contract Computer Programmer. Surviving are his parents , Ben and Margaret Allen of Ellerbe; brother, Ron Allen and wife Patsy of Columbus,OH; nieces, Stephanie Allen of Binghamton, NY, Paige Allen of Dallas, TX; nephew, Hunter Allen and wife Mary Beth and their son, Cameron of Dallas TX. A service to celebrate Ben’s life will be held at 10:30 am Saturday at Crestview Baptist Church with Rev. Robby Stewart officiating. Interment will be private. The family will see friends immediately following the service at the church and at other times at his parents home in Ellerbe.
