Michael Lee Sanders

Michael Lee Sanders, 51 of Rockingham died Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. Mike was born September 27, 1960 in Scotland County a son of Rachel Evers Sanders and the late Donald E. Sanders. He was a retired electrician. He is survived by his son Andy Sanders of Rockingham, two daughters Miranda Sanders of Hamlet and Amy S. Williams of Rockingham, his Mother Rachel Sanders of Hamlet, one brother Donald E. (Tom) Sanders Jr. of Hamlet one sister Carol S. Stutts of Aiken S.C. and three grandchildren. A service to celebrate the life of Mike will be held at Faith Free Will Baptist Church, Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Terry McDaniel officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
