James "Marty" Layton

James Martin “Marty” Layton, Jr. , 44 of Orlando Fla., died Wednesday May 2, 2012 at his home. Born September 15, 1967 in Rockingham, NC a son of James and Betty Panky Layton. He was preceded in death by his brother Timothy Layton in 1990. He is survived by his wife Bernice M. Layton, two sons; Josh and Ryan Dunnington and two daughters; Jenilee Helton and Sarah Dunnington and two grandchildren. Also surviving are his parents. Graveside services will be conducted 11am Thursday morning at Robert’s Cemetery in Jackson Springs. The family will gather at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe at 10:00am Thursday morning.
