Megin Lewis Chapman (Mann)

Megin Lewis Chapman (Mann), 40, of Rockingham, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital in Rockingham. Megin was born July 25, 1971 in Dallas, Texas, beloved daughter of Mary Kay Lewis Chapman and the late Dr. Tom Allen Chapman. Megin was a graduate of Marlboro Academy, St. Andrews College and North Carolina Central University, where she received her Masters in Library Science. She was a member of Saint James Catholic Church and had served as directress of the Farmville Library. Surviving are her mother, Mary Kay Chapman of the home; brother, Rodney Masten Chapman of Rockingham; and fiancé, Wilton C. Mann of Chapel Hill. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 7pm Saturday at Saint James Catholic Church, Father Jean Pierre Swanunu Lhoposo celebrant. The family will see friends following the mass and at other times at the home on Fayetteville Road. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made online to CTCA at www.demandcurestoday.org.
