Alexander "Jesse" Jessup Davis

Alexander Jessup “Jesse” Davis, 18, of Rockingham, passed away Friday, June 1, 2012 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Jesse was born July 5, 1993 in Richmond County, a son of Robert Bruce Davis and Sharon Creech Davis. He was a talented musician, skateboarder and friend to many. Jesse had played baseball and soccer in the Rockingham City League for several years. Surviving are his father and step-mother, Bruce and Katina Davis of the home; mother, Sharon C. Davis of Middlesex, NC; brothers, Nick Davis of Hamlet, Jacob Davis of Rockingham; grandparents, Paul and Sarah Davis of West End, Janet Sizemore of Middlesex; and step-brother, Larry Snead of Rockingham. A service to celebrate Jesse’s life will be held at 4 pm Wednesday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home. Interment will be held privately at a later date. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at his father’s home, 55 Third Ave., Rockingham.
