Junior Vaughn Roberts

Mr. Junior Vaughn Roberts, 83 of Rockingham died Saturday June 23, 2012 at Richmond Pines Healthcare of Hamlet. Mr. Roberts was born July 25, 1928 in Wilkes County a son of the late James and Bertha Douglas Roberts. He served his country in the U.S Army. He was owner and operator of Robert’s Produce. He is survived by his wife Daisy Roberts of the home, one son, David Stacy of Laurel Hill and one daughter Margaret Parton of Laurel Hill,; three sisters Mae Leviner of Rockingham, Faye Gardner and Mattie Jones both of Illinois, two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday June 26, 2012 at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Rev. Don Kevett officiating. Interment will follow at Eastside Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
