Lewis Terry

Mr. Arthur Lewis Terry, 66, of 176 Ivey St., Raeford died Monday, October 8, 2007 at his home. He was born December 15, 1940 in Richmond County, a son of the late Jasper and Rosa Morgan Terry. Mr. Terry was a member of Rourk Presbyterian Church. He was a 1959 graduate of Ellerbe High School. Mr. Terry was employed in the textile industry. Prior to his illness, he was with Russ Knits in Candor as designer. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, October 11th at Rourk Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Stone officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Brenda English Terry of the home; three daughters, Vicki Richardson of Fayetteville, Lynnie Tew of Sanford, and Jenny McDuffie of Raeford; one son, Alexander Terry of Raeford; seven grandchildren, and three great grand children; two sisters, Jo Ann English of Rockingham and Rachel Russell of Ellerbe; four brothers, Ralph Terry of Rockingham, Charles Terry of Ellerbe, Leon Terry of Rockingham, and Jack Terry of Florence. Mr. Terry was preceded in death by a brother, Van Terry. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and other times at the home, 176 Ivey St., Raeford. Memorials may be made to Liberty Hospice, 336 S.
