Joseph Rexall Kester

Joseph Rexall Kester, 47 of 141 Midway Road Rockingham died Saturday June 30, 2012 at his home. He was born December 14, 1964 in Richmond County a son of Joseph Rexall Kester, Sr and Alice Lenora McCaskill Kester. He attended Richmond Senior High School and was a graduate of Richmond Community College. He was employed as an Emergency Medical Technician with Braveheart MedicalTransport of Laurinburg. Joe was a longtime member and Lieutenant on the Richmond County Rescue Squad. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Melissa Jane Kester. He is survived by his wife Betty Annette Smith Kester ,of the home , a daughter, Victoria (Tori) Lenora Kester of the home and a younger brother, John I. Kester, Sr. of Rockingham. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Joe will be held Thursday, July 5, 2012, 3:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham conducted by Rev. David Parrish. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
