Tommy Crenshaw

Mr. William C. “Tommy” Crenshaw, Jr., 85, of 106 Midland Street died Thursday, July 19, 2012 in Fry Regional Hospital, Hickory. Born October 21, 1926 in Union Co., NC a son of the late William C Crenshaw, Sr. and Mary Jane Pressley Crenshaw. He was a member of Roberdel Baptist Church , and retired from Aleo Mfg. Co He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Dewey, Elliott, James, Woodrow, Pat and Allie, his sons; Andy “Bill” Crenshaw and Gerry Crenshaw and his grandson Casey Crenshaw. He is survived by his wife Gladys Jarrell Crenshaw of the home and a son Dale Crenshaw and wife Kim of Salisbury, daughter-in-law Debi Crenshaw of Charlotte, Granddaughter Dana Crenshaw and Bobby Grooms of Rockingham, grandsons Will and Taylor Crenshaw of Texas, G.W. and Christopher Crenshaw of Rockingham. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm. Saturday July 21, 2012 at Roberdel Baptist Church. Rev. Chris Smith and Rev. Jerry Turner will officiate. Burial will follow in Richmond Memorial Park The family will receive friends noon to 1:30 Saturday at Roberdel Baptist Church.
