Nellie Watson Cochran

Nellie Ann Watson Cochran, 74 of Rockingham died Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Rockingham Manor. Mrs. Cochran was born May 8, 1938 in Richmond County a daughter of the late James and Mary Viola Terry Watson. She retired as a secretary from Sandhills Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband Herman Clifton Cochran as well a brother Rev. Thomas Watson. She is survived by two sons Duane Cochran and wife Michele of Rockingham and David Cochran of Raeford, one brother James Watson and wife Ann of Rockingham and a sister-in-law Mavis Gibson of Rockingham. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Richmond County Memorial Park with Rev. Tommy Watson officiating. The family will receive friends Monday July 30, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home of her son Duane Cochran.
