Robert Carol Page

Robert Carol “ Bob” Page, 76, of Ellerbe, died Sunday, August 26, 2012 at The Carroll S. Roberson Hospice Center in Fayetteville. Mr. Page was born January 1, 1936 in Asheville, NC, a son of the late Pearley B. and Jeanette Crosland Page. He had served in the United States Air Force and was a member of First Baptist Church in Ellerbe, where he had served as a deacon. He had served on the Ellerbe Town Council and was owner of Robert Page Tax Service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Jane Hunsucker Page. Surviving are brothers, Mickey Gates of South Carolina, Harry Baker of Florida and sisters Kay Seek of Tennessee and Peggy Jones of Florida. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 pm at First Baptist Church of Ellerbe with Rev. Jim Brown and Rev. Donnie Davis officiating. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery. The family will see friends from 2 to 2:45 pm Wednesday at the church.
